West Point and Army Wrestling
On July 18th, 2016 I stepped onto West Point’s grounds for the first time as a cadet. In 2016, I started my journey at West Point at the United States Military Academy Preparatory School. I was originally recruited to wrestle at West Point and the Army Wrestling team is honestly the best organization I have ever been a part of.
I competed at the division one level on the wrestling team while also trying to maintain my academics and military training. My late teens and early twenties were brutally difficult. Those years were full of cutting weight, grinding in the classroom, and rigorous military training. To this day, being a student athlete at West Point is the hardest thing I have done. I am grateful for everything West Point has given me.
My senior year, I was nominated as one of the captains of the division one wrestling team. To this day, I consider this one of my greatest accomplishments. I finished my time at West Point with honors as I majored in Engineering Management.
